Junior Church Performs the Christmas Alphabet Nativity

A lot has changed since our last Nativity play. The last one was two years ago, 2019, in the old church building, at a time when Coronavirus was just something happening in another country. Fast forward to Sunday 12th December 2021, the children and teachers of the Junior Church put on a wonderful performance of the Alphabet Nativity, in which each letter of the alphabet linked to a part of the nativity story. The performance was narrated by Karen Hindle, and featured excellent solo performances by Eleanor (Mary's Boy Child) and Gracie Smith (Away In A Manger), as well as full-cast renditions of Go, Tell It On The Mountain, Knock-Knock-Knocking and Hurry Hurry. As has become a tradition in recent years, music for the Christmas carols was provided by Bolton (Hoover) Brass Band. A huge thank you to everyone involved for the countless hours of hard work and effort that go into putting on a performance like this.
