After a very long period of planning, designing and fundraising, our wonderful new stained glass windows have been installed at the front of church. The design for the windows was created by Karen Hindle, and the windows were built and installed by local company, Design Lights. The top windows include the Methodist and United Reformed Church logos, photos of the old Wharton and Cleggs Lane buildings, and rainbows, as well as the lyrics from the hymn, All Things Bright and Beautiful. The lower windows feature grape vines, which will be a running theme throughout the building, and the inspiration comes from the Gospel of John, Chapter 15: "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit".
