Christmas Fair Success

Old Friends and New Faces at our Annual Christmas Fair

Despite the bitter weather, we were delighted to see so many people at our Christmas Fair on Saturday 27th November, and were even more delighted to see a mix of old friends and new faces. The photo above was taken even before the Christmas Fair officially opened, and the church was full to capacity from opening at 11am to closing at 2pm. Visitors enjoyed a wide variety of stalls - cakes, crafts, toys and cards, as well as tombolas, guessing games (guess the name of the teddy, guess the weight of the Christmas cake, and guess how many sweets in the jar) and even Christmas wreath making. The kitchen team, as ever, did a sterling job, providing warming soup and delicious hotpot throughout the fair.

We'd like to thank everyone who supported the fair, either by attending, running a stall, donating items/prizes, in the kitchen or helping to promote or organise the event in any way.
